The player of this match was definitely Wonder Pets Opposite, Jham. Although his first CVR Asia season, he has racked up in the stat sheet with a whopping 64 points with a 43.6 HT% making him the top scorer by a large margin in the league. his best match was definitely this match where he broke the record for the most kills in a game, scoring 29 kills with a HT% of 42.86% making him one of the most lethal offensive player in the league so far.

Focusing more onto the match performance by Jham, it was very obvious that Jham was Wonder Pets main scorer as Wonder Pets Setter, Keizy was giving him all types of sets like Quicks and Up Tilts. Jham utilized these sets and managed to find open spots to rack up his points which helped Wonder Pets keep the score close.

During the match some CVR players watching the match claimed that Wonder Pets was a "One Man Army" and "Jham and Friends". Will this all attention get to Jham ?

Now that Recoil has won the LFQ ( Losers Quarter Final ) they will now be going against Powerhouse team, Saints which features S1 Ring and S1 MVP KenyS on Sunday. 2 powerhouses clashing together. Win or Go Home.

INTERVIEW SEGMENT

I managed to have an interview with some players after the match

Recoil Captain, pr44y

Q1 : Before the match, what plans did u prepare facing Wonder Pets?

A1 As for a plan to face them, there wasn't really one. Although, Gabby deserves a lot of credit for reading the game especially well and so did everyone else on the team.

Q2: During the match, Jham showcased his offensive power did u notice and try anything to reduce his points?

A2: To be honest, i don't care how much points Jham scores; Ultimately, winning is all that matters. i wanted to beat Wonder Pets perhaps even more than my team. To try to reduce Jham's points, we tried instructing our Outsides to block the line but it didn't really go as planned.

Q3: Now that you have won Wonder Pets, what are your thoughts about facing Saints in the Losers Semi-Final ?

A3: I'm not sure about how to face against Saints, they simply have too many talented players compared to our squad and their "Outside" game is far superior to ours. I'm also really grateful for Beetols to agreeing to play with us on Sunday.

Player of the match, Jham

Q1: We know that during the match, you broke the record for most kills in a game, how do u feel about this?

A1: I felt like it was bound to happen that i would break the previous kill record. its not like it was my goal or anything, it just happened.

Q2: Now that Wonder Pets journey is over, what are your plans for the future?

A2: It's better not to expect, but i would definitely still be up there.

Q3: Would u like to share your thoughts about Recoil during the match or Recoil itself?

A3: Recoil was a really touch match, everybody was equally in touch with their chemistry overall, at least that's how I felt, about it. Great teamwork and great defense.

Wonder Pets Captain, Keizy

Q1: During Recoil vs Wonder Pets, Jham broke the record for the most kills in a game, how do u feel about this?

A2 :As Jham's setter, i feel very accomplished. Seeing him fired up and scoring everything, gotta give him credit where its due. We knew going in that he will be their biggest offensive threat, so seeing him score over 3 blockers again and again showed his dominance, but it wasn't a fluke. He earned it.

Q2: What plans did u make during/before the match against Recoil

A2: Going in, the plan was to let them respect the middle quicks and let their blocker keep on committing, then letting the pin hitters score off the middles dominance, Jham, took advantage of this effectively. During the first set, we had a great start that led us having momentum into the game, yet losing the deuce 26-28 somehow setup a loss in morale in set 2, causing us to take it a rough 13-25. With this, i bluntly pointed out every error and habit that caused us this first 2 sets, but i knew it wasn't the end of it. Me and Brid brought the team's morale from the ground up, celebrating each score, and every point came to us naturally. The fire was burning the brightest during the third and fourth set, however, mistakes piled up on last crucial set, making us lose 11-15.**

Q3: What will Wonder Pets be doing after the lost

A3: This run has been long, but this doesn't mark the end for Wonder Pets. Following this league, we will rebrand to HOMRA, where we will rebuild this team better than before.

Q4: There are claims that Wonder pets is a " One man Army" Or " Jham and friends" what are you opinions on these claims?

A4: On the claims of Wonder pets being a one man army or reliant on Jham, i will have to admit, we over rely on Jham, but you can't just resist the temptation to set a scoring machine like him. Stat-wise, i feel like i have left my outsides lacking in sets, and i regret this dearly, following this season, we will make an offense to make sure that everyone is used effectively, even the greatest scorer can be the greatest decoy.
