Last Chance: Saints, Recoil battle for a spot in Losers Finals
Saints and Recoil are set to clash on Sunday, 8:00PM for a spot in the Losers Finals of CVR Asia: Main League, with both teams hoping to keep their championship dream alive, and earn another chance at Aurora.
Both Saints and Recoil have once, fallen at the hands of Aurora earlier in the tournament, this match isn’t just a battle for advancement, but a redemption shot to face Aurora once again, although this time with a place in the Grand Finals on the line.
Saints, reputable for being CVR ASIA’s Round 1 Qualifiers TOTW, and also for having multiple MAPUA (S1 Ring Winners) players, will need to triumph against Recoil to try and bounce back from its previous defeat against Aurora.
“Personally, I feel good about this upcoming match. Both teams are going to play against one another with complete lineups, and hopefully that makes the match very fun.” Beetols, Saints’ captain said.
He also remarked that KennyS is eager to play this match against Recoil, and may be the most contributing for Saints.

On the other side of the corner, ASIA’s Round 5 Qualifiers TOTW, and also Round 2 Playoffs TOTW, Recoil is a fresh team that needs to win against Saints to keep their streak of being the Dominant Team, down at the Losers bracket.
“This is going to be a really tough match for us. I was happy with our previous win against Wonder Pets, but I'm curious to see if we can beat the Saints. It's going to be a lot of fun and exciting.” Gas, Recoil’s Captain said.
Gas also replied that it wasn’t easy being the first team in the lower bracket, as teams like Bennu, OTR, and Wonder Pets weren’t going down without a fight.
“However, we couldn't underestimate Bennu either, we actually dropped a set against them, which made us realize we needed to be much stronger for the OTR match.”
